Robotics and digital technology education are considered a central subject in technology education. CRDTE supports the Technion engineering education program in preparing teachers capable of educating school students for life in the modern technological world. Undergraduate and graduate students of the faculty are exposed to innovative teaching methods, carry out educational projects in engineering, participate in research activities of the Center while gaining practical experience in teaching high school students. Technology Education has been established in 2014 with support of PTC Corp. Over the years, CRDTE has carried out research projects on learning IoT, AI, and augmented reality technologies, as well as analytical, analogical, integrative and others thinking skills. The Center’s laboratory of robotics and digital technology is an incubator for innovative engineering education programs and a meeting place for researchers, Technion students, and school pupils.
