Center for Robotics and Digital Technology Education
The Center for Robotics and Digital Technology Education (CRDTE) conducts educational research on learning through developing and operating smart and connected engineering systems. The research focuses on experiential learning, modeling and analogy, educational robotics, human-robot interaction, spatial learning through practice with robot-manipulators, augmented reality, IoT, and smart transportation systems. The team members of the Center are engineering educators and science and technology teachers, who meet the challenge of development, implementation, and evaluation of innovative learning environments and processes for K-12 and university students. The team actively participates in national and international STEM education programs. Research collaborations have been developed with academic institutions, schools, science museums, Israeli Ministry of Education, and hi-tech industry.
